Missing the payment date on your Zilch instalments can negatively impact your credit score or make your Zilch credit limit go down.
Can I still make a late payment in the Zilch app?
Yes, you can still make a late payment in the app if it's been less than 60 days:
Open the Zilch app
Go to Purchases
Select the purchase with the missed payment
If it's been more than 60 days, we may pass your account to CRS who will work with you to clear your outstanding balance.
Why does my payment say 'missed'?
We take your payments automatically from your linked debit card. If your payment was missed unexpectedly, it could be for one of the following reasons:
There wasn't enough money in your bank account
Your card has expired
An issue with your bank
Please contact your bank directly for help with these issues.
Does Zilch have a late fee?
No, Zilch never charges late fees or interest on your missed payments, but if you have too many missed payments, we may place a block on your account. If we do this, you won't be able to make a new purchase until you repay your outstanding instalments.
