Why can’t I link my debit card?

Struggling to link your debit card to your Zilch account? Here are a few troubleshooting steps to solve it

There are a few reasons why you might not be able to link your debit card to your Zilch account. Take a look below and if the problem continues, contact our Customer Support Team via live chat between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday.

You’re trying to add an invalid card…

Unfortunately, we don’t allow you to add certain cards to your Zilch account. These include Revolut, Curve and prepaid bank cards.

You’re trying to add a credit card…

We only allow you to link debit cards to your Zilch account (sorry, no credit cards here). This is so we can make sure we’re lending responsibly.

Your address doesn’t match…

The address you provide when linking your debit card should match the address given to your bank exactly. If you’re struggling to link your debit card, it’s worth giving this a check.

Your bank has declined the link…

For reasons out of Zilch’s control, your bank might not allow you to link your card with your Zilch account. If this happens, contact your bank for more information.
