When you sign up to Zilch we'll ask you to provide a selfie and proof of ID – this is so we can make sure it's really you opening an account and not a fraudster using your name.
How does Zilch verify identity?

How long does it take to verify my identity?
Once we receive your proof of ID, verification usually takes up to five business days but can sometimes take a little longer. We'll keep you updated and you can start paying with Zilch as soon as we're done.
