Paying with Zilch is easy as 1, 2, 3. When you sign up, we’ll ask you to link your debit card – we take payments directly from this account, whether you choose to Pay in 1 or Pay in 4.

Pay in 1

Love a little extra? Earn while you shop when you choose Pay in 1. You’ll get up to 5% back in Zilch Rewards when you shop online by searching our app for your chosen store and enabling your card before checkout. Plus, you don’t have to worry about repayments – the entire purchase cost will be taken from your debit card.

Pay in 4

If you’ve chosen to Pay in 4, the cost of your purchase will be split over six weeks. You’ll pay in instalments of 25% every fortnight, like this…

  • 25% (plus any fees) at checkout

  • 25% two weeks after the transaction date

  • 25% four weeks after the transaction date

  • 25% six weeks after the transaction date

Can I pay early?

If you’d rather get the fuss of repayments out of the way early, head to the Purchases section of the app. You’ll see the Pay Now button next to your purchase.

FYI, paying early (or on time) could help to increase your credit limit. Bonus.

Can I delay a repayment?

Need more time to pay? Our Snooze feature lets you delay a repayment by four days. You can only use Snooze once per transaction. Find out more here.
