How do I make a purchase using Zilch?

Ready to step up your spending experience? Read on for how to pay online and in-store using Zilch

Updated over a week ago

Welcome to empowered spending with Zilch. Our game plan is to give you total freedom over how you pay (and give you some sweet rewards, too).

You can Pay now and get up to 5% back in Zilch Rewards or you can choose to Pay over 6 weeks and split the cost of payment over (you guessed it) six weeks. When you Pay over 6 weeks, you’ll need to pay from 25% (plus any fees) upfront and the purchase will need to fall within your credit limit.

First things first, before you start shopping, you need to enable your Zilch card. It’s super easy. Just follow the steps below:

  2. Find a store by browsing the app or using the search bar

  3. Choose whether you want to Pay over 6 weeks or Pay now

Want to shop in-store but can’t find your chosen retailer?

  2. Select Zilch Anywhere

  3. Tap Shop in-store

  4. Select whether you want to Pay now or Pay over 6 weeks

Things to remember…

To keep your shopping process smooth and enjoyable, there are a couple of things that you should bear in mind.

  • Your digital wallet payment method is automatically set to Pay now. You can switch to Pay over 6 weeks via Settings.

  • Any purchase amounts under £10 will automatically default to Pay now, even if you’ve opted to Pay over 6 weeks.

  • Can’t find the store you’re looking for? Try Zilch Anywhere. Please note that using Zilch Anywhere or shopping with a non-participating retailer in-store incurs a fee of up to £3.
